Terms and Conditions

BOOKING
In the event that more than one client wishes to book wedding services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the deposit. Rescheduled weddings will only be accommodated if the new date does not conflict with another booked wedding.
ACCESS
It is the client's responsibility to secure access to areas for videography. AB Wedding Videos will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.
EDITING
Creative aspects such as filming and editing style are at the discretion of AB Wedding Videos.
EXTRA TIME
On the day of the wedding, if events are running behind schedule, AB Wedding Videos will stay until the last event agreed has been filmed (e.g. the first dance) unless instructed otherwise. Any extra time spent filming at the wedding will be charged at £100 per additional hour (See the bottom of this document for maximum filming times before extra time charges are added). An invoice will be issued to the client for the extra filming (and therefore editing) time. Failure to pay extra time charges gives AB Wedding Videos the right to withhold the finished product until it is paid.
PRODUCTION
AB Wedding Videos will not be held liable for any production problems beyond control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics / lighting, interference from guests, etc.
ADJUSTMENTS
Upon taking possession of the finished product, the client must inform AB Wedding Videos of any technical or other problems with the video within 7 days. After 7 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.
INVOICE
AB Wedding Videos will invoice the client for the total amount agreed as displayed on the invoice. The total balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to the date of the wedding. If the total remaining balance is not paid with exactly or less than 6 weeks prior to the wedding, AB Wedding Videos can assume this as a cancellation and has the right to terminate the agreed service and endeavour to fill the terminated date with alternative work. In this case, The initial deposit will not be refunded, but the remaining balance will not have to be paid. (If you think you are going to have trouble paying the remaining balance within this time frame, please discuss it with AB Wedding Videos before making the booking).
Should the recipient wish to cancel the agreed service, they must do so at least 6 weeks prior to the date of the wedding to ensure a full refund of the outstanding balance (the 25% deposit is non-refundable). If the recipient decides to cancel exactly on or less than 6 weeks prior to the date of the wedding, no refund will be given.
COPYRIGHT
AB Wedding Videos retains full copyright to any video footage obtained from the recipients wedding day, and has the right to use any video footage for future promotional purposes (raw and edited). AB Wedding Videos will only ever use the video footage obtained from the recipient’s wedding day for promotional purposes. Permission to use certain footage for other wedding supplier’s promotion might be asked for, but the client has the right to refuse this.
MUSIC
At least 6 song choices should be made by the client (one for the taster video if included, and 5 for the main highlights), and these choices should be communicated to ABWeddingVideos before the date of the wedding. If no song choices have been made by the date of the wedding, ABWeddingVideos may use any music deemed appropriate to best fit the video.
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE FAILURE
Should unforeseen circumstances result in the loss of footage, an amount will be refunded equivalent to the percentage lost. The final amount decided will be at the discretion of AB Wedding Videos.
FAILURE TO ATTEND
If, for any reason disclosed or otherwise, AB Wedding Videos cannot physically attend the event on the agreed date, and therefore cannot produce any content, a full refund including the initial deposit will be issued to the recipient.
AGREEMENT
In paying the agreed deposit for this service, you agree to all of the above, and you consent on behalf of all guests, those working on the day, and members of the establishment to give permission for their image to be used in the final delivered wedding video. Their image may also appear on the sites www.abweddingvideos.co.uk, Youtube and Vimeo. The images will not be sold or offered for download, only used as a way to promote the filming and editing ability of the staff of AB Wedding Videos.
